Developer Authorizations

All GSMA Members must follow a specific authorization process to become an Application Developer.

Summary

All GSMA members must follow the same process in order to participate in the position of Application Developer (Developer). The process is as follows.

Authorization Process

Eligible participants must use the following authorization process to enter the position of Developer.

  • Forum Proposal: The prospective developer, the Telcoin Autonomous Ops, Ltd (TAO), or another forum member must submit an Application Developer authorizations proposal to the “Authorizations: Developers” section of the Telcoin forum.
  • Formal Proposal: A Telcoin Autonomous Ops, Ltd (TAO) or Compliance Council member may submit the authorizations proposal for the prospective Developer to the Compliance Council Snapshot.
  • Authorization: The Compliance Council will then approve(or deny) the Developer, following the KYM process.
  • Proof of Alignment: Developers must stake TEL from their unique multi-signature wallet address to participate in mining issuance and governance.
  • Deployment: Deploy Telcoin Mobile Application to app stores.
  • Actors Involved

  • Prospective Developers: GSMA Members who seek to participate as an Application Developer.
  • TAO: Responsible for networking with the GSMA and facilitating new Developer authorizations by proposing prospective Developers to the Telcoin Forum and the Compliance Council Snapshot.
  • Formal Proposal Author: Any TAO member or Compliance Council member may submit the Developer authorization proposal Compliance Council snapshot.
  • Compliance Council: Responsible for reviewing, verifying and authorizing(or rejecting) prospective participants.

    • Description: In order to be authorized, a prospective Developer’s authorization proposal must be submitted to the Compliance Council snapshot and affirmed by the Compliance Council.
